2016 SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Explore all things sports and fitness,
Cathlamet Public Library presents “On Your Mark, Get Set... Read!”
Activities include group games, physical challenges, art projects, science and engineering experiments, and more.
The 2016 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, story times, a reading club, and more. Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me portion of the program.
Sessions are Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30pm.
June 22nd - Games from Around the World
Playing "Catch the dragon's tail" from China.
June 29th - Out of the Ordinary: Great Races
A "build the LEGO tower" race.
July 6th - Flight Club (paper airplanes)
Jayden Murphy (above) and Logan Nelson had the longest flights.
July 13th - Library’s Book of Records
(extreme sports & world records)
July 20th - Fueling your Engine
(healthy living activities & games)
July 27th - Science of Sports
(science & tech behind the sports you love)
August 3rd- Motion Commotion: Have a Ball!
(Turn in your reading logs!)
August 10th- Awards Party
Registration for "On your Mark, Get Set... Read!"
begins June 1, 2016.
